About Artist: Charles Uzzell-Edwards, 43, is a graffiti artist and gallery owner who goes by the name of Pure Evil. He opened the Pure Evil Gallery in Shoreditch, East London, in 2007 and lives in Hackney with his wife, Lisa, and their eight-month-old daughter, Bunny. Pure evil bunny I was fascinated by guns as a kid. My cousins have a big house in the countryside, and I borrowed one of their shotguns, went out into the fields, and killed a rabbit. Since then I’ve always regretted this terrible deed and the idea is that the rabbit is coming back to haunt me. I was sitting on my bed sketching and the bunny design [pictured below] just appeared. It symbolises retribution, and that you have to pay for your actions. The great thing is, you can do it in about five seconds. If you are running through the streets of Moscow at night you can just do a quick bunny on the side of a hoarding and run away. I thought it would be fantastic to call my baby Bunny and it turned out Lisa had it on her list of favourite names.
